Summary: This will be a two part presentation. The first part will include information about Alabama's Underground Damage Prevention law and how it pertains to survey and design applications. The second part will be a panel discussion with experts to discuss real issues in the field, what others have done to improve the working relationship as part of damage prevention and what other areas need to be addressed to help keep Alabama safe and connected. This session will help ensure that Surveyors will know the requirements of Alabama's Underground Damage Prevention law as it pertains to their industry to ensure compliance with regulations. The second part is a one hour update on the GIS Alabama Land Information System (ALIS).
